The following promotional events were released for the game. Most of them grants some additional unlockables in-game.
Beta[]
In addition to be able to play the game early and have an influence on the game development, playing in at least one beta unlocked additional Awards in Uplay, granting additional stickers.
Skin a Car[]
Skin a Car event allowed to apply a custom paintjob for a Mini Cooper S. The best skins were selected to be included with the game on release.
Golden Plates[]
Golden Plates were a scavenger hunt initiative where players were suppose to search for the codes (Golden Plates) in various online materials and invite Facebook friends to the application to form a crew in order to unlock in-game unlockable codes.
Xfinity Speed Challenge[]
Xfinity Speed Challenge adds a new mission in-game. Contestant from the selected states in the US can also participate in contest to win a coupon for gas, games or in-game unlockable for a pernament Xfinity RUF car.
